Like the bushings of the SB Series, they are made from bronze bands with a composition of 92% copper and 8% tin. They feature through holes filled with grease, providing a much higher retention capacity than their counterpart bushings.
The corrosion resistance of the SB/2 series bushings is high due to the base material. Therefore, it is a bushing suitable for dirty and aggressive environments.
The operating temperature limits range from -100 ºC to 200 ºC, strongly influenced by the lubricant used.
