Materials

Manufactured from three-layer composite strips:

  • PTFE + fibers with a thickness of 0.01 to 0.03 mm. This is the interior surface of the bushing. Lead-free.
  • Sintered bronze. This layer bonds the PTFE layer to the next layer, providing thermal and electrical transfer qualities.
  • AISI 316 stainless steel. High corrosion resistance.

Corrosion Resistance

The corrosion resistance of the Serie U-I bushings is the highest in our catalog due to the use of AISI 316 stainless steel. They can operate even in seawater or highly corrosive environments.

Temperature

Operating limits range from -200 ºC to 280 ºC.
