Materials

Similar to our Serie U, these bearings are made from a composite material with three layers.

  • POM + fibers with a thickness of 0.3 to 0.5 mm. This is the interior surface, which is yellow in color. POM has excellent anti-friction qualities, and the distinctive surface design with cavities acts as reservoirs for additional lubrication if used.
  • Sintered bronze. This layer allows for proper heat dissipation generated by the rolling friction.
  • Low carbon steel. This structural part of the bearing provides and maintains its shape, offering the required structural strength and good thermal conductivity. It is coated with a layer of copper to prevent corrosion.

Corrosion Resistance

Corrosion resistance to different substances is shown in the following table:

For greater corrosion resistance, bearings from the Serie ebo U-B or Serie-SB can be used, respecting the dimensions and tolerances.

Temperature
